There is a relatively small but very appealing menu with many of the usual options, but with a Middle Eastern influence that lifts the food above the norm. The grilled lamb is sliced and served on a very generous amount of crisp green vegetables - green peas, sugar snap peas, green beans, broccoli and zucchini - along with hummus and mint tzatziki. The Toastie is a brioche slices smothered in a triple cheese sauce and served with poached egg, liberal thick slices of bacon, with a tangy date chutney. Both dishes were very well presented, very generous for a lunch, and absolutely delicious. The Cafe layout is light, spacious (and expanding) and clean. How does Milford end up with a better selection of cafes than Grey Lynn? Now there is a another fresh face to entice the weary traveller or amateur unqualified diner at the crossroads of Milford. This spacious and contemporary venue is relaxing and inviting and the menu has a great selection of dishes.
